After looking for an oscillating spindle sander for the better part of a year, I had taken note of a few eBay sightings of Boice-Crane OSSs. Fully intending to bid on a recent offering, I instead forgot completely about it, and merrily whistled away my time in the shop... (Doh!)

About two days later, however, Tony S. contacted me about an OSS that was near his home in the Mahwaukee metroplex. Fortunately, Dean G. had informed Tony of my interest in procuring an OSS. I hopped in my trusty Ford, and made a 75 minute jaunt northeast to meet Tony one Saturday morning, and picked up the Boice-Crane that Tony had scoped out, once again reinforcing the spirit of OWWM comraderie.
