Given to me around 2005 by a friend who was a retired cabinet maker. Replaced the cord as soon as I got it home (wire was worn through), tuned it up a bit and promptly put it to good use. Just finished a complete tear-down and rebuild (April 2020).
Tag is missing from motor. Cover is cracked and I had to put a fender washer on the screw to hold it in place. Quill lock bolt/lever is missing - someone replaced it with a hex-bolt. Replaced the chuck w/ a 5/8 from Grizzly - the teeth were worn out on the old one. Made a small table for it with built-in dust collection.
On recently completed rebuild:
Replaced the 2 square-headed set-screws at the base of the mast with Allen-headed ones (very awkward to manipulate square-headed ones in that location).
I replaced the motor mounting bolts and corrected the mounting plate orientation - someone drilled 2 extra holes on the motor mounting plate and had it rotated 90° from correct.
Works and runs very well.
