Comments:

Purchased new in South Africa as standard woodworking machine with open steel stand. (Optional gearbox was very expensive and unaffordable.) Stand was then fitted with fabricated hinged steel belt cover.
Later added a second-hand geared motor and a 10" drive pulley to provide metal cutting speed. Changeover requires shifting belt to other motor and electric changeover switch.
Operated perfectly for over 30 years before gearbox failed. Adapted old Briggs & Stratton reduction gearbox and has been in use since 2016
