This was spotted on eBay. The seller forwarded to me full file size photos and gave permission to create a photo entry here. At this point we have very limited information on these units. This is only the 2nd photo entry, and we have no dirty paper (catalogs, owners manuals, parts lists, etc) for them.
Seller is from Texas, and indicates that this had previously been at a family member's home in Rhode Island: "From personal knowledge, I know it is at least 70 years old. A family member owned it when hurricane Carol flooded Providence, RI. in 1954. The flooding is the reason for the replacement motor"
Additional information provided:
"One drive motor powers a 7" table saw, wood turning lathe, disk sander/grinder, drill press, and planer [jointer]. Everything works. Repairs have been made to the main mounting table, saw table, lathe tool rest, and planer gibs. All tools are three speed, using multiple sheave v-belt pulleys. Mounted on a roll around dolly. . . All original, except, drive motor. . . . The lathe, grinder, buffer, and sanding disk all use the motor mount lying down with the motor in the far left position on the chrome rods. The drill press and rotary planer [jointer] attachment are used with the motor mount in the vertical position, again with the motor in the far left position. The motor slides along the two chrome rods, with the motor mount in the horizontal position, to power the table saw and the fixed planer [jointer]."
