Bought from fellow outside Worcester, MA. No story. This is the earlier version of the GR50E. This GR50 is lighter built, with square ported wheel guards. It has bolts in the base that hold the tool rest bars in place. The knurled nuts that hold the eye guards in place are threaded through. The cast pieces holding the eye guards in place on the GR50E are missing on this GR50
