I made it home safe and sound. Picked up a few extra goodies. In Pittsburg, PA yesterday with snow on the ground and down to Alabama today with short sleeve weather, AC on in the truck.

I bought the Oliver lathe disassembled, from an industrial museum ( secret location ), went through all of the parts, and it only seems to be missing the two banjo tool rests. There are quite a few face plates, tool rests, the out board tool rest etc., and it is in astounding condition despite being in storage for the past 15 years.

I certainly had better fuel mileage empty than coming home loaded through the mountains of West Virginia with an 8500 lb lathe, Emmert vise, old wood-rimmed bandsaw wheels, and an antique stained glass window.
