this chuck is mounted to a 1.5"X8tpi backplate, it was in a fire and I discovered the broken gear teeth on #3 jaw when I was cleaning it up. It is marked "CODE - GLARSSB" and NV is stamped on each jaw and near the through hole. it has two places where you can operate the chuck, one marked with a "o" (for master). Chuck key is square, .365 inches max (to fit in the square hole), so I suppose that means a 5/16" square drive.
