From a little research I found out this machine came off a support ship for a battle fleet in WW 2. And what I think is these small mills were made just for this purpose because of the size and weight. I had to do a little work on the feed gearing but other than that it’s been working fine for me. A bit loud because of the square cut gears but a workhorse none the less.

Comments: 40 taper head. The overarm takes a 50 taper. I have never seen this on a cincinnati mill before
