My father aquired this saw some 20 years ago and used it until the motor went out. It sit in a corner of his shop until a storm destroded his shop. It sit there in the weather for another three years until he gave it to me about one month ago. I have put alot of work into it to get it back to this shape. I am currently looking for a motor for it. I would like to find a bullet motor for it so I don't have to cut the case out. I will post more pictures when it is completed. If any one has a good motor please let me know.

Update: 1/22/2006 What a great web site..... Found a 220/440 volt 3 phase motor real cheap. I am planning on using a phase converter to run it. (cheaper than buying a new motor plus I don't have to cut the case.) I am now looking for the mounting hardware (pins) to mount the motor. If you can help me please e-mail me. I also need a good switch to start the three phase motor. Please help!!! The wife wants some new cabinets as a return on the money and time I have spent on this project...

Update:2/6/2006. Well, it is complete. Installed a 1hp 3 phase motor wired to a phase converter and it works great. I will redo the wiring location later on (had to get it running to do a remodeling jod.). Still can't find a micro adjuster for the fence but I will keep looking. Could not get the top as shinny as new but it is alot better looking than in the finished photo. (guess I had too much saw dust floating around in the shop when I took the picture.) I am planning to get a mobile base for it later due to the lack of room in my shop. I installed the top, bolted it down, put a blade on it and it was perfectly square with the top on the first try. Bet that won't happen again. I have still got to set the 90 degree and 45 degree stops but that will have to wait till tomorrow night after work. My dad says he wants it back now that I am finished with it. (HA,HA.) Thanks to every one on this site for there info on this project.
