All original, complete and fully working (but very dirty) jointer, purchased as a Buy-It-Now offer on eBay. Drove 3 hrs. each way to pick it up. Removed the machine from the original cast iron and wood stand (IJ110-X ?), and set it on my basement floor for these pictures. No missing parts other than the knife/belt guard for the rear of the fence, which I believe was offered as an accessory. (The mounting area on the rear of the fence does not indicate that there was ever anything attached there.) The original switch is there, as well as the original dual purpose cutter guard with hex shaft attaching studs, and the washer on the end of the fence support bar, all of which typically disappear. There is a mounting boss on the infeed table for a flat pork chop style cutter guard, but it is not drilled. (I suspect that these jointers were equipped with one or the other style cutter guard, but probably not both.) The mounting shelf for the motor is cast, and the Texrope triple belts don't look bad for their age. The bolts holding the lower shelf of the stand are apparently upside down with the washers and nuts on top, but the witness marks on the top and bottom of the oak shelf indicate that it has been that way since the beginning! There is minor rust on the bottom of the feet of the stand, which should come off with a wire brush. I intend to just clean it thoroughly and use it immediately to replace the lighter weight Sprunger Bros. aluminum jointer I'm using now.
