Purchased this saw in 1987 after a freind told me he knew an older gentleman that had it for sale. As it turned out this gentleman had two, this one and an older one. I think I paid him 900.00 CDN. He gave me the long and the short rails for the fence. When I got it home I dismantled and cleaned everything, bead blasted all painted parts, and refinished with a blend of black and white Endura EX-2C coating which is a two part automotive type finish. I have used it extensively since then and never had a bit of problem with it. It is a very smooth and accurate saw. I recently added the osbourn miter guide which for about $200 is a serious upgrade over the original and I would recommend it to anyone
