Comments:
This saw was offered to me in response to a Wanted ad I put up on a website for a wood cutting bandsaw. The owner living in Durban, needed funds and was selling unwanted items. The bandsaw virtually complete appears to have had a very hard life. The back metal cover had a gash cut right through it which had to have been caused by the rim of the upper wheel rubbing hard against the cover! The under table adjust mechanism was totally seized as was the knob which selects the speed for wood cutting /metal cutting. The saw was bought virtually untried because of its state. It will be totally refurbished and hopefully be fully restored to working order again.
