Bought this from a dealer in Oxford, PA a few years ago. Wanted one forever. He had restored it, I painted it Oliver green to match my other Oliver equipment. Per the 1920 catalog posted by Chuck Hess 2/24/2006, it weighs 85#. I believe it. Rich Fink at Eagle said Oliver didn't put serial numbers on "small things" like this. I also have an Oliver 153 Vise w/o a SN. I continue to be fascinated by the design and utility of the Emmert-style vise. As an aside, a few yrs ago I stumbled across a canadianwoodworkingforum.com thread wherein they discussed that an English company named Wadkin & Co. licensed its patented pattern maker to Oliver in the very early 1900s (hence all Olivers are really Wadkins). Interesting reading.
