Sears Craftsman 1/3 sheet sander built by Syncro.
Magnetic oscillating drive, 115VAC, 4.0A.
Die-cast aluminum body with alligator style spring paper clamps.
Power-Bronze kit box.

October 2019:
Estate sale find. Runs fine. Outer cord jacket hard and crumbling.
Found a Sears repair slip from 1963 that two springs were replaced (20¢ each spring and $4.50 labor).
Kit box had a pack of sandpaper, m/n 2530 lambs wool polishing pad, along with one each medium and fine Karbo-Grit sheet.
No further history is known.
November 2019:
Opened handle to replace deteriorated power cord.
Also found ground wire jumper from handle to main body broken at eyelet.
Made new jumper from 18gauge wire.
Added a 10’ 18-3 SJT power cord.
Used a piece of power cord jacket as a strain relief.
