Received this Lathe as a gift from a co-worker that was getting rid of her ex-husband. It is gray with a black base, but the inside of the pulley housing is the green you see on the other models - but it appears to have been professionally painted when new. It's in really good condition after a little clean up and I have ordered a step pulley for the motor. I need to build a stand for it and mount it. The headstock threads are 3/4 x 16. It took a couple of days of soaking the collar in liquid wrench to get it to thread off, exposing enough threads to attach a faceplate or chuck once I get it set up and running. The backside of the headstock is 5/8 x 11 threads and it appears there is an extra brass bearing on the end with no oil hole but has interior grooves for lubrication. I put a second nut on the back to keep the shaft slop to a minimum. I see some of these with a faceplate or grinder on the backside of the shaft as well. Mine did not come with a faceplate. I have a bunch to learn to get this set up and going, but it will be fun to see what it can do. My manufacture date is based on another one with the same model number posted here.
