My Father purchased the Lathe in Vancouver, British Columbia,during or after WW2. He once told me the Atlas Lathes with a 54 inch bed and Timkin Head Bearings were not available so he purchased one with the Babbitt Bearings.
I registered the Lathe to see if anyone know when it was made & if any parts are available. I might be interested in a conversion to Timkin Bearing Head conversion from Babbitt Bearings, as the current Bearings are worn.
