Sears Craftsman heavy duty Mill type capacitor start-induction run motor.
115/230V
>>HISTORY<<
Purchased in 2015.
Motor previously used in an industrial application.
Disassembled, cleaned interior, and repacked original ND 8505 bearings.
Shaft end bearing retainer screws stripped and one threaded hole filled with a broken tap.
Drilled and tapped a new set of bearing retainer screws 20° rotated from original holes.
Added short power cord and rewired for 120V operation.
Update 2024: I no longer own this motor. Traded to a friend.
