purchased on auction, machine was donated to local school in southern tier, NY. from a nearby manufacturing plant. deal was to wire up and local shop would help train students to operate. opportunity never materialized. I was the only person to bid on machine, purchased for less than $200. 7500 lbs., had a good friend in the construction business with a low boy and hvy duty bobcat load and deliver to my garage. took a year to finally rewire(updated contactor) to 220 3 phase. built a 15 hp rotary to power 10hp lathe & hydraulic pump. still a few bugs in the carriage threading feed. been speaking to Monarch, parts still avail. building tooling inventory as we speak. told my neighbor that sometimes a guy waits all his life for a machine like this... guess I did.
