All indications are this is an early Crescent made but badged Silver foot powered bandsaw. (Note serial number of 29) This machine has been restored based on another that at least had some of the foot powered parts still there and studying catalog cuts. It required making patterns, getting Cattail to cast the parts in gray iron, machining and then getting everything aligned so it will run. To learn more about these early 2 piece bandsaws, check out the history of Crescent by Keith Rucker. Plan to do a video on the restoration and put it on my website, www.footpoweredmachinery.com in the near future. You can see a video on the restoration of a single piece "C" frame Crescent foot powered bandsaw as well on the website. The "C" frame was the next model Crescent made. Also see the thread on OWWM that has more info on this restore. Will admit the top wheel seems to look larger than the lower wheel but will assure you it is the same size and original to the machine!! And yes, she does run very nicely!!
