This machine was received free from the Vintage Machinery Classified Ads. It was the gentleman's grandfather's machine. The machine has not been abused, still has the surface grinding marks on the table. The bearings run very free and the table adjustments work smooth. The machine had a slight amount of surface rust on the table. I made a makeshift leather belt to test run the machine. I was going to convert to direct drive, but having received it with the original low RPM motor I feel it would be just wrong to convert it.
