I was told this came from a school in the Minneapolis, MN area. I acquired through CL ($70) from the guy who bought it at auction. He had two many projects and had not got it working. Upon inspection I found the drive pulley was missing its key and the McGil safety switch was also tripping. Otherwise the motor and bearings appear to be in good shape. Originally I planned to just clean it up and remove the schools safety switch, however as I was rewiring it was apparent that the 5 conductor cable was too brittle to reuse. Thanks Sam Savage for the tip on McMaster-Carrs cable replacement.
