I acquired this saw via an online IRS auction in January of 2019. I observed it at a local, used tool company, and on a whim, I entered the minimum bid, which won the saw, for the princely sum of $57.50 plus a $20 wire fee. I needed another large RAS like I needed a hole in the head, but I had a 10” Rockwell/Delta RAS and a 16” DeWalt and thought having two different styles might be a safety issue...plus, it looked like it needed to belong, somewhere.

In looking at the photos, after I bed, I noticed a crack in the motor yoke, what I learned was not unusual. I planned on having it welded, but in late June 2019, I found a yoke on Craigs List for a reasonable price, and bought it. My next task is to remove the large DeWalt from the shop and place this beast in there for cleanup and test.
