I picked up this unit on a drill press offered in a Craigslist sale. The ad actually stated it was a "Savage" drill press. I was intrigued and did a little sleuthing. As it turns out it was a Southbend 14" drill press with all the Southbend tags removed. The unit operates on a cam lever with a reeves drive double pulley. It does a decent job on single pulleys. It gets trickier with cone pulleys to establish belt length.
