The Ontario Steam Heritage Museum, Puslinch, Ontario, Canada, restores and operates a variety of steam-related machinery including 10 operational traction engines. During a visit with the Tool Group of Canada, in June 2019, they had fired up a Nichols & Shepard traction engine to pull tours through the museum property. I believe it was said that this engine was built about 1912 (?) and could pull an 8-bottom drag plow. It was originally used for plowing virgin prairie land in Western Canada.
