This was spotted for sale on CL (in Southern California). As we have few of these listed, I'm adding this set of photos to the archives here to expand our knowledge base.
A few things I note are that the base on the floor and bench models appear to be the same other than column length. So far we have no indication that there was any other model variations of Tiger DPs, nor have we found any Tiger branded machines of any other type (jointer, table saw, etc.). This DP appears to be fairly complete. It does have a replacement return spring cover, and it is missing the Tiger decal we've seen on the front pulley cover of other Tiger 16 DPs.
(Regarding the motor: it's not likely that Tiger dealers supplied Craftsman motors with their DPs. However we have no documentation either way. It could of course be a situation where the original purchaser bought the DP with no motor and then mounted this motor on it, or this motor could be a later replacement for whatever was on it originally.)
We suspect but have no documentation at this point that Tiger Tools Inc. of Los Angeles was the maker of these DPs.
