Comments:
ORIGINALLY HAD THREE PHASE MOTOR AND SWITCH NEITHER OF WHICH WERE DELTA. I INSTALLED PROPER VINTAGE 84-910 DELTA REPULSION INDUCTION MOTOR AND 132 SWITCH. I HAD A SET OF CUT DOWN EARLY DELTA FENCE RAILS THAT I CURRENTLY HAVE INSTALLED, BUT I DO HAVE CORRECT RAILS. I FIND THESE SHORTER RAILS KINDA HANDY ACTUALLY.

I HAD NOTICED SEVERAL DELTA 34-307 (OPEN STAND) SAW UNITS IN THE PHOTO'S BUT NONE OF THE 34-305 (CAST IRON STAND). BOTH ARE OF COURSE MODEL 1160 10" TILTING TABLE CIRCULAR SAW'S WITH DIFFERENT BASES AND SWITCHES.

I ALSO HAVE AND IDENTICALLY EQUIPPED 34-307 (OPEN STAND), AND 37-595 COMBO UNIT (10" SAW/6" JOINTER) CURRENTLY IN USE FOR MOLDING AND DADO OPERATIONS. I HAVE ALWAYS PREFERRED THE COMBO DUE TO IT'S WEIGHT, BUT DID NOT LIKE THE SIZE. I AM IN HOPE THAT CAST IRON BASE WILL IMPROVE WEIGHT AND SIZE. I PREFER THESE OLDER DELTA FOR MANY OPERATIONS I DO EVEN OVER MY UNISAW, AGAIN DUE TO SIZE. AS FAR AS SHEET GOODS THE UNISAW IS ALWAYS MY BEST BET.

I HAVE RESTORED AND USE SEVERAL OF THE 8" AND 10" TILT TOP SAWS IN MY SHOP AND HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED. AS FAR AS LOOKS NOTHING CAN BEAT THIS OLD IRON.
