Comments:
Frank H. Clement and American are cast to base meaning it had to be manufactured after the merger in 1897.The machine came from the upstate N.Y furniture factory haul.It is Babbit Bearing, flat belt drive, dual 30" disc.An updated verison is listed in the American Wood Working Machinery eleventh edition catalog minus the Frank H.Clement name.
I removed the tables for loading and transporting it back to my place. The paper was held onto the disc by the way of a metal ring on the most outer edge of the disc. The castings
are in very good condition and have no cracks or repairs, the disc are true and flat, the babbit is tight with no play.
