This tablesaw was in pretty rough shape with I bought it (sometime in 2017). I do not know the history, but it seemed so well made (solid casting throughout) and with a very unique rip fence rail (a threaded rod works as a worm gear), I wanted to restore to a usable/functioning machine in my shop. The arbor bearings are new, I enlarged the top (cast iron right wing, left wing and outfeed are wood & melamine). I have the original motor but that was in very poor condition so I used a .5HP rockwell motor I had leftover from another (jointer) restoration. This saw runs like a dream - minimal vibration, arbor runout is only 0.002, rip fence is within 0.007 parallel to blade.
It is not the original (blue) color anymore (apologies to any purists), but I really like the Hammered paint from Rustoleum, I've used it on 3 restorations now (gray and green). The 20" cast iron wing (right side) I got from ebay and was a nice fit to the saw.
