Purchased from local Pa. Cabinet shop, who purchased it from the company that purchased it at auction from the Philadelphia Naval ship Yard when it closed in 1996. Has a brass plate that reads " GIRARD MACHINE & TOOL CO. 491 NORTH THIRD ST. PHILADELPHIA, PA." Assume where machine was purchased new.
