I acquired the machine in 1979 at a public sale of equipment at Kerr’s Planing Mill in Ickesburg PA. I would guess that he machine was built around 1919. It has been in use in my woodworking shop since the time that I acquired the machine. At some time before I got the machine the drive belt for the jointer was converted to a v belt. I run the machine with a 5 horsepower motor.
