I will not include all of the stages of refurbish, (no one wants to look at primer red). Am using Rustoleum with a campbell hausfield sprayer. Also, am keeping the three phase motor as I have a Cedarberg static phase converter, but just bought a rotary phase converter so I can run at full power, big difference between a static and a rotary converter! I am posting these photos for one main reason: "To encourage others that the idea of restoration of these machines is absolutely possible and a very fulfilling endeavor". As I would not have even bought the saw or attempted the restoration if not for the OWWM site. I replaced the bearings in the arbor myself with the help from the Saw Center, they helped with a missing spanner nut and tension washer plus new belts.
ps do not get discouraged when, in between stages you look out at a pile of parts out on the porch and start to wonder, will I ever get this done!
Mike

I painted the base black, don't know why, but is a nice contrast. I think I saw someone else's saw like this.
