Comments:
I purchased this machine at an auction. It did not have any spindles when I bought it. I contacted Master and they wanted ~ $3k for a set of spindles and throat plates, so I started making my own. The arbor is powered by a 3hp 3 phase motor and has a second motor that runs the oscillations. As a result you can turn the oscillations off if desired and just run the spindel. The arbor also tilts to 45 degrees. It
will run spindles from 1/4" diameter to 6" diameter. This machine has some unusual features. It has a wrench to hold the spindle when lossening the collet built into the machine. Its always there, you just slide it out of the way when you don't need it. Of course you have to supply your own wrench for the collet nut. It also has a little periscope built into the table that lets you view the angle gage when tilting the table. The periscope is even backlit with a small bulb. Pretty neat! Machine is extremely well designed, operates smoothly, and is a very aggressive sander.

Comments: Master Sander. Not much in the pretty department, but it really works nicely.
