Bought it in February 2019 in LaVernia, Texas from a gentleman who was upgrading his shop in anticipation of a second career in woodworking once he retired. No other background information was provided. This is my first restoration. It came with the retirement lamp and had a large modern start / stop switch with receptacle for the lamp cord. Motor is a 1/3 HP General Electric. Could find no information on its dating. Per the Delta serial numbering system, this machine was made in 1952 at the Tupelo manufacturing plant.
