I bought this from a member on BOYD in 2016. I estimate it as a 1939 model. It does not have a serial number tag or holes for one and Delta in NOT cast into the arm. It still has the square cross slide and it seem tight. It came with the variable speed drive and I had to add the guard. I also fabricated a bracket for a gooseneck lamp.
I designed a bracket for a 90 degree stop rod. I made a pattern and had several cast by Cattail foundry.
The art deco stand is inspired by the art deco stands for the jointers and bandsaws. It is made from construction lumber and MDF panels. I included storage underneath. Each drawer is 18" deep. The back panel is removable to allow access to the drawers and electrical. I included captive T-nuts in the top to bolt it down and put rubber washer underneath.
