The Levi Houston Co.of Montgomery,PA. is cast in to left side of main casting and American cast on right side.Machine must of been made during the merger of the smaller companies into American Wood Working Machinery Co.The machine was setup for line shaft
and still has its leather flat belts.I acquired the tenoner with five other line shaft
machines and all are in working order from a closed down furniture factory in upstate N.Y.The tenoner has top and bottom tenon heads and end trim blade.It is complete with no broken castings.The tenon heads can be rised and lowered together or indenpendent of each other.The babbit bearings are in very good condition with no play.I really like the looks and its simple design and looking forward to using it.
