Aquired from kijiji ad in Huntsville On., for $20.00 - I don't need it, but have never seen such a small one before so I had to buy it.... plus it was only a 5 minute drive from the cottage I was staying at.
Had a switch box with a light switch on it when I got it. Removed this and uncovered serial number and orginal switch opening.
Only a 6" grinder, but very heavily built - catalogue lists weight at 84 Lbs!
I have seen lots of large Ford-Smith grinders, but this is the first "cute" little one.
I love the Art-Deco styling of it - Very similar to the massive 24" twin disc Besly sander I have in storage..
