1960 Delta/Rockwell 10" Unisaw 34-450
I bought this unisaw off craigslist for $350.
Details:
2hp, 240 V Three Phase motor
Lenze VFD
Rustoleum smoke gray cabinet, Charcoal gray base
Vega pro fence
Micro jig MJ steel Pro splitters
I'm pretty happy with how this saw came out. It's my first restoration and entry to the world of vintage Machinery. The dual voltage motor was originally wired for for 480V. A local motor shop wired it up for 240V and replaced the bearings. I fabbed a dust pan for the Cabinet bottom, and replaced the Arbor, bearings and Belts(Jason). Runs Beautifully. It'll balance a penny while running.
VfD set for 1.5 sec Ramp time, no brake. Motor draws about 6 amps on start-up and 2 amps while running without a load on the blade.
Robbed my old delta contractor saw for the Vega Fence and motor switch.
