This drill press was recently advertised over here. It's not mine. Other than the name "Empire", there's no information about the company that made it, nor the country of origin.

Being in New Zealand, chances are strong it's a UK product. On the other hand it's a very American looking design.

A search of "Empire" on both Vintage Machinery and Graces Guide failed to bring up any obvious maker.
