Aquired this machine along with a few others in the 80's; the full story is in the comments section with photo submission of the 6" jointer, model 654. This machine is in great operational condition and I aim to get it up and running as another tool for my shop. I have a 17" bandsaw that I use, mostly for re-sawing, and l'll use this for more scroll work so as not to have to change blades as often. I find that original, model 656 or 667, stands are hard to come by so I think I'll build one that is mobile to optimize space in the shop.
