Aquired in Turlock Ca. The previous owner said it belonged to his bosses father and gave it to him while helping clean his estate.
Machine looks to be 100% original and in very good condition. Probably the nicest pre 50's drill press I've personally ever seen. The paint is superb for a 80 year old machine and very minimal rust.
Has a Companion 1/3 hp motor so I'm assuming this is a first year production machine (41-42).
I'm very excited to have this machine in my collection.
