HISTORY: This planer came from Catawba Hardwoods where it was used heavily. In the early 2000s it was removed from service due to shaft and bearing housing damage. Catawba Hardwoods donated it to a group similar to Habitat for Humanity, where it sat for years. I purchased it from this group in 2017 and restored it to working condition. It needed some new parts and other parts re-machined, and the usual de-rusting, lubrication, etc.
