I found the lathe down in San Diego, CA. I old guy said he got out of a building that burnt down in the Los Angeles area.The badge on it was from a machine distributor in Los Angeles. So I stripped it down and had to find some parts, and make some part. I sand blasted it and repainted it the original black color. It has the factory optional v-belt head drive and I found a 1940's motor drive and mated it up. I think they are calling this a Heavy 9 in certain circles. It's really hard finding parts for it. Thank god for Ebay!
