Motor found on Craigslist for $30. Worked, but motor ran with switch on or off. It was previously painted with heavy coats of black spray paint and the bearings needed to be replaced. I stripped it down, polished the hardware, replaced the wiring, added new bearings and I bypassed the switch on the motor for a more modern start/stop box switch that I'll mount to the front of a stand with the jointer.
