Comments:

Purchase in San Jose CA. from the now closed Hinnman's Evergreen garage. This machine is equipped with a low speed attachment. I believe part of the original shipping crate is still attached to the base. There has been a auto repair station at this location since the 30's. I speculate this drill press may have been at that same location since new.
Motor appears to be dated 1939.
