Found by a woodworking buddy in a chicken coop in central Wisconsin around thirty years ago. He called me and, said, "Walter you need a new bandsaw." Price 4 or 5 hundred dolla. Drove the 100 miles and brought it home (farther north in Wisconsin). Used it for 10 or so years and stored it when I moved to AK in 1990. Had it (and about 5 or 6 tons of other cast iron) shipped up here in 1996. Stored it. Finally did some work on it in 2017 and '18. (Clean, remove rust, dis-assemble, remove paint, prime, paint, re-assemble, make guard, mount on timbers w/ casters, hook up electricity, test, smile!) Hums like a champ. J.A.White was in business between 1870 and 1911. So it's even older than I am.
