In 1984 Spaulding High School a.k.a. SHS in Rochester New Hampshire purchased a Powermatic 10" Tilting Arbor Saw for their wood shop along with many other machines. Recently they consolidated their shop equipment at the Technology/CTE Center and in December of 2018 I paid $1250 via Craigslist. The PM66 is completely original, very well maintained and runs super smooth with the Marathon motor: 3 H.P., 3500 R.P.M., 1-phase, 60 cycle, 220V motor, 14.4 AMPS. The saw came with a PM motor cover, Bill Biesemeyer's T-Square Model 50 (72") saw fence, dado and standard inserts. The only issues are that it was hard wired so I need to buy a male 6-20 plug and the handle on the blade raising/lower hand wheel is missing.
I plan to setup, clean, touch up painting and use the table saw daily in my home shop (about 75 miles from SHS); some of my ripping work is done with hand saws or the band saw but rough ripping, repetitive cross cutting, dadoing, angle cuts, etc. will be done on the table saw. Great saw!
