I acquired the saw in Kane PA. The seller was disposing of the contents of the house he grew up in. He was pretty confident his father bought the saw in the 70's, at a nearby school auction/sale, he possibly paid $35. He said they had used it to process deer, much to my relief it was not all 'blood and guts'! The seller was extremely helpful, he had set up a chain fall that really made all the difference in the world during the disassembly to 4 manageable weight pieces.

The saw is in great overall shape, we ran it for a moment. It has the original stand, guard, fence, 1/2 hp Century motor that definitely needs work. The original paint is buried under yellow with a red top coat. The guide side blade guard is missing. I am very pleased to call it my own. Once I give it a full restoration it will be rotated into shop use displacing my WT Craftsman badged 16".
