This lathe has the same legs, drive method and is the same size as The Leader Lathe I just posted. The bed has "V" ways and the headstock and tailstock are slightly different. Am saying this is also a "Leader Lathe" as it has the Frasse logo and NY location cast in the legs. My guess here is that Frasse either had two makers or maybe more likely, the maker had improved the original design and added the "V" ways at which time Frasse had them add their name. Better product??

Not much info out there on Frasse to be as big a company as they appeared to be.
