This lathe was advertised on Facebook marketplace as a pattern makers lathe , no mention of Oliver. As I looked at the pictures I saw the Oliver nameplate and realized it was a 20, just not sure which. The sellers pictures showed lots of tooling and some kind of outboard cross slide. I messaged him immediately and was surprised it was still available. I made arrangements for pick up , and brought it home. I ordered the birth certificate,which I will add when I get it. The original purchaser was American Can Co. Geneva N.Y. It was ordered with a 2 speed motor with no motor controls. The motor on it is a 4 speed but the serial numbers match the purchase order.
