This was a machine I found on Craigslist and went to visit the seller and the machine. While he was asking a very reasonable price for a beautiful machine, I ultimately felt the daunting task of restoring this (specifically the electronics) was beyond my ability to commit to. Also, OW/MWM rules indicate that if you think about buying it for too long, someone else will and this was the case.
This is an early version with the “motor-generator” setup to provide D/C direct drive from A/C single phase power. This is also the earlier NON-vacuum tube setup as well.
